Conferences
There are so many talented partnership practitioners out there doing great things - wouldn't it be nice to have an opportunity to hear from them directly, finding out what they've done, what lessons they've learned, and how you can apply those lessons directly to your efforts?
That's the premise behind our annual Effective Education Partnerships Conference. Our first event, held July 10-11 in 2008, brought together more than 150 partnership leaders from around the country to share their insights and experiences. The event featured three nationally-known keynote speakers, 30 breakout sessions, and lots of networking time for participants. To review the 2008 agenda, download presentations from a selection of sessions, and see pictures of the event, visit www.eepc2008.com.
Unfortunately, we will not be holding an event in 2009 due to the budgetary challenges being faced by schools and districts across the country. We suggest that partnership professionals interested in developing their skills and knowledge look into our webinar series, investigate resources highlighted on the Business/Education Partnership Forum website...or stay tuned for a major announcement coming in November.
Based on economic trends, we hope to bring our summer conference back iin 2010 - stay tuned!
